4 batteries had bad smell. Replaced 2 and went otr but smell returned. I disconnected the 2 bad batts because they were draining the new ones. I ran about a week and when I returned home I decided to replace the other 2.
I installed and truck drove with zero issue. Came back next morning to an ELECTRICAL FAULT... No codes. But won't turn over. Just continuous beeping.
Disconnected all batteries for several hours. Reconnected and still shows Electical Fault and beeping
I'm lost. All connections are clean and secured.

Eaton automatic transmission?
Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
-
The transmission controller will actually allow the engine to crank. If the transmission controller is not booting up this will cause your issues. Low voltage cranking/bad batteries and boosting can take out an Eaton transmission controller. Your next step is to have it towed to a shop that can plug into it and see what the codes are and if the transmission is communicating on the datalink or not and go from there. If the transmission is missing then power, ground, ignition inputs and datalink activity to the trans controller need to be tested.
2013Maxx and QUALITYTRUCK Thank this. -

The ECM should still be showing up on the datalink. How did you order the TCM? It will need to be configured for the trans and engine it is attached to.

I purchased at the intl dealer. Rush here in Atlanta. Do they come already configured? Or is there a programming in service ranger?
