Please dont try the money first look cool later thing on me
I dont know if anyone has taken the time to read the post but im not buying a truck i was just wanting more information about this tranny combo just for curiosity's sake. and I know plenty about looks and money, I may not be the richest company owner out there but I do find the time to polish and clean my rigs. and It may not make me more money, but do you really think a big concrete company is going to want me testing their scales with a falling apart truck? the way I see it you ride reflects on your workmanship if you cant find the time to run a hose over your truck, and keep it poorly maintained that tells the owners that you dont really give a rats tail end about the freight being moved. Im not a otr driver; probably may never be, but when I walk out to my yard and see my derrick rigs gleaming in the texas sun it makes my heart swell that im looking good and reflecting positively on my business they may get dirty as soon as they hit the dirt but even sitting in the yard they show that we care about our trucks and drivers, Sorry to ramble but I feel people are trying to accuse me of being a Stupid steering wheel holder just because I think a Youtube video is cool. what is the world coming to? :biggrin_25513:

Just to add to some of the comments. I know off more o/o's and company's with nice shinney cool trucks that are doing realy well then i do off o'os and companys with fleet speced plastic trucks. So what does that say, you can be cool and make alot of cash. In the end the guys with the cool fancy trucks dont run cheap and get what they should.

these are my trucks, sorry no Custom peterbilt with 800hp and chrome out the wazoo. They are not pretty and they are not truck stop show stoppers but they make me money, Yet i still go out and clean them meticulously at the end of each week Why? because I believe in running a good business with clean equipment. You know what maybe ill break and go get full overhead lights and twin stacks for the freightliner maybe some flames hey ill be broke but beside the point ill have a truck that will still make me the same amout of mony as it did before no?

It was basically said in general. But I'll be the first to say that I'll be under my truck before I ever worry about it being clean. I know alot of people that got that backwards!

I'm also the type that my family comes first. So you may pass me someday and my truck is dirty, it might be cause I was at the lake being with them.

That funny cause I've seen alot of so called cool fancy trucks running alot cheaper than I ever would think of..... Who knows, maybe I'm the cool fancy truck....Nah...lol

    Hey rbht.......

Yep...you can add a 4 spd A-Box to anything but most of them are factory.
You need a way to have no power to rear wheels when your main transmission Is In gear to use winch.
    Some trucks have a air shift 2-spd A-Box or a 4 spd A-Box

Fairly common in the oilpatch, in particular, 18 speed with a 2 speed auxiliary for deep reduction.

v8lenny is the same guy that was calling everyone idiots while giving advice on building cummins engines at the same time he proved he didnt even know how the cummins fuel system works

im sure if anyone was dumb enough to listen to v8lenny there truck would be on the side of a road somewhere that is if it fell off the tow truck that pulled it out of the garage.

you can put these auxillary trans behind any other trans
