Some household goods moving companies will hire you as a driver helper and maybe let you drive within the state. Contact Khan D' Kulia Trucking School in Los Angeles; I think the guy that owns the school also owns a household goods moving company.
If this doesn't work, Google : household goods movers southern California and try those.

Bolthouse Farms out of Bakersfield and Morning Star out of Los Banos. One is carrot hauling, the other tomatoes. Not great pay but your young. Get that experience.

I wonder about BNSF Railroad? (Maintenance crews). They want younger guys with strong work ethic and backs.

you have two strikes against you. First, you're young, second no experience. However you just need to get you foot in the door as they say. So plan on doing a straight truck driving job and/or a grunt with a moving co (which actually pays pretty good). Be willing to travel (not all moves are cross town) Hustle down to your local truck stop and ask questions galore. Contact anyone or anything that has to do with trucks. Oh, one last thing....protect your CDL which means NO TICKETS ! Good luck
