i would think it would be the same as a 4x4 or a 5x4 wich you would have 6 in your main box an 3 in your auxliry box so you would split 6 gears 3 times. hope this helps.

I'm thinking the second stick might be set up as the splitter maybe ??

Buddy boy, that's a truck! Down side to a twin stick is that if you miss a gear you got to stop and start all over again so you had better be on top of your game. Look's like Twin stick pappy almost missed it a couple of times.

Man, the view out the front windshield and the sounds...man oh man...

I'm not old enough in the business to remember that first-hand, but I know what I like!

I used to drive a twin stick R model pulling a bulk tank, we used to call that truck "the ticket machine" because if you weren't paying attention a speeding ticket is what you would get !! she would really scoot..

That would be my guess. It's a 2007, so it's not going to be a 5x4...probably just a show-truck thing made to look like a classic 2-stick rig by using a mechanical link to the splitter instead of an air solenoid. The only other possibility would be the range shift, but I think that would be too large a step between gears to make the shift in any practical fashion.

I don't know how long a 5x4 would hold up to the torque of a 600HP C-15 either ?? prolly not long !! LOL

Seems like I saw in a show truck mag a few months ago one of those custom shops had a kit that would make a 13/18 a twin stick kinda like what you described..

I used to miss gears every now and then with a two stick...I never had to stop and start over again...Who told you that?
