    Years ago I drove a 1974 kenworth
    Had a 5 x 4 fun learning to shift that one.
    Never locked up the linkages, but missed a shift or two.

    Then I got a 77 kenworth that was a glider kit.
    Had a 10 speed turn around main box and then a four speed browning box behind it.
    Ever hear the old saying both sticks against the dash?
    Well that was the old 2 stick trannys and high gears were in the forward slots not back like they are now.

    40 forward gears and 8 reverse.
