so I've seen a lot of Pete's but their company names and dot # on these boxes. I think it looks really clean and want to do it. I've been trying to find just a simple replacement cover for both boxes with the smooth front so I can put my stickers on it. No luck. All I'm finding is the whole assembly and requires drilling and such. Has anyone done this and. And can lead me to a place to order the right pieces?

Just find a metal shop to sell you pieces of a size that you can rivet to your boxes.

    Wespipes Thanks this.

You can get whatever your budget allows. Steel to paint the color of your truck, aluminum that you can polish, or stainless. If you're really cheap, you can even get PVC, any color you want, and put that on instead.

Aye figured. What would you suggest using? Like an angle dye grinder?

I'm not really sure on that one. I've never had to cut one off on a nice surface like that before.

Use the angle grinder on the back (unseen) side. Dont try to cut through the fastener, rather grind it down from the top. It looks to be aluminum so it'll try to clog the wheel but don't worry about that. Replace with stainless carriage bolts and nylocks.
