19-year-old US pilot arrested for unauthorized Antarctica landing on cancer charity flight

 

He's one brave 19 yr. old. Flying all over the world solo in a small plane. His parents must be rich.

 

I thought I was brave, but that guy takes it.
I wasn't brave, just not too smart about life.
Still in high school and bought a Cushman Eagle w/8 horse motor.
Paid for it with paper route and mowing lawns and bagging groceries money.
My buddy and I got on it with our luggage and left the Nashville area heading for Florida. We decided to go live in Daytona Beach.
We didn't even get out of Tennessee because that little 8 horse motor couldn't pull hills with two of us and our luggage.
Our parents didn't ever find out about that adventure.

 

Yes, they made or still make meter maid carts.
