19 years old tryin to get a local job (VA)

Some household goods movers hire 19 yr. old drivers to run within the state.
Google for Household Goods Movers , then put in some apps.
May have to help pack out a house, then deliver the furniture to another location within Virginia.
It's a start though and counts as experience.

FedEx is hiring for a city driver apprentice position in Chesapeake. I would look into that one

 

Brick and lumber yards. Class B flatbed. When I was 18, I drove a straight truck for MidAmerica Entertainment Co. They would build the stages for big outdoor concerts, the rings for boxing and wrestling. I guess these type companies wouldn’t be doing anything right now.

 

This one hires 18 yr. old cdl drivers. Does hire nationwide.
I think they put applications on a waiting list if nothing available at the time.
Don't know if there's a facility in Virginia or not. Helena Agri-Enterprises.
