There's no denying ford has the best built truck for sure. Always has.
The 7.3 was one of the best diesels put in a pickup along with the 5.9 Cummins.
. The 6.0 and 6.4 not so much.
The new 6.7 is proving to be one heck of a engine also.
You really cant go wrong with any the new pickups out now. They all make a great product with there own pros and cons.

Yea I don't see how those ecoboosts hold together, they're cranking a lot of ponies out of a v6, I've seen people hauling 10 or 12 tons of hay with them things.Brettj3876 Thanks this.

Once you get rid of those crappy factory head bolts and install head studs those 6.0 motors are actually pretty tuff.Brettj3876 and snowman_w900 Thank this.

I don't know about that, my brothers 06 6.0 has been on a trailer about as many miles as it's been driven, just the way the motor was designed is stupid.Brettj3876 Thanks this.

After an egr delete and new head studs my 6.0 has 198,xxx miles and still running good. That's all I know .Brettj3876 Thanks this.

They're just a real hit and miss engine I think, I know guys with nearly 300k on one and pull with it all the time and never done a thing to it.

12 valve with a radical cam'd P pump and bigger barrels/plungers and the timing advanced to 30 or so in a ford body. I can dream lol. The P7100 is what made the 5.9 famous and mack used them all the way up to 1997.
My friend has a fusion with 2.0 eco 250hp/270tq. That thing hauls the mail for a grocery getter
