In the picture of the cab jack/pump: there is the cab mount cross member in the backround, the safety latch engages to that rear mount/crossmember
As to the cylinder that isn't working, block the cab up so you can remove the defective cylinder unless you can access it with the cab down?

    Adisiwaya Thanks this.

Can someone explain the difference between air assist hydro pump Vs manual? There's 100$ difference at fleet pride. 699 after everything said and done shipped for the air assist Vs 599 for the manual

Go air assist. Basicly just press a button to jack your cab up. If truck is out of air then you can still manually jack it up like normal. Cats meow on a cab over.

i want to put a electric pump on mine, all over ebay for a few hundred bucks. on mine i need a pump that stays open on the lower valve, otherwise my shifter will disconnect when the air ride cab rocks back on pressurizes that circuit. if you have cable shift,or the shifter on the floor it wont matter.

If I was in your shoes, I would keep it all original. I have a 1979 K100 but parked since I got my Pete, everything in the truck I get original. I would find a place where they specialize in hydraulics and take it there for there opinion. That's what I ended doing when I had my truck going. I would go thru the rams also. And use hydraulic oil only, non detergent motor oil.

    Oxbow and Adisiwaya Thank this.
