What one do you have? Have you had any issues with it? Does it have a hydro manual over ride? I seen Northern tool by me has some of these on there shelves or like these. Worries me not having a manual over ride. I also need to look into a safety latch for my rams because I don't feel like being crushed (there isn't any that I know of on the truck)
And I would keep it original but it's been zombiefied few times already so to speak. That's why I figure on doing little more modern touches so if something does go wrong I won't have issues finding replacement parts

Just finished reading the thread. I am rebuilding a 359. New wiring and all new air lines.
Been getting gauges from ebay - good take-offs. Also been happy with VDO and Hewitt brands. Get them on Amazon. For the speedo, I am using an electronic with a isspro transducer on the cable stub on the trans. Ask if you want more info.

Isspro R8970. Bought a .203 tip to go with it to fit the RTOF-9513 trans. Have not gotten it finished wiring yet, been finishing the air lines. Here is the document with the details on calibration.

One more thing - called Eaton to find out how many revs the speedo cable port does for each rev of the driveshaft. They could not give me a definite answer because of the various speedo calibrations that could be bought. They said to use about 2.1 to 2.3 to start. With my 4.11 axles that puts me on the last page of calibration numbers for the dip switches. Plan to hook up everything then go for a ride with the speedo in my lap, and do the final calibration using mileposts or something, along with my gps in my phone. Then I will install it in the dash.
