I bought mine back in the day in 1984 at the KW dealer. Back then the dealers where reasonable. Anyways... I would google it. "Cabmate" air suspensions.

That's it. It's identical to one one I have, But, only I paid $650.00 back in 1984. Shop around, maybe you find a use one for a lot less.

Air ride cabs never came out till 85 or 86 i think. Same time square headlights and cable shifter.
I wouldn't put air ride cab on the old style . It would be difficult keeping the shifter base and the cab bottom sealed. Not to say it cant be done, just i wouldn't do it.

My cabmate can with a kit. It's a little hard to explain but is came with a spring base pad type that went over the shift tower, the spring would keep the cab seal while moving. It was a aftermarket aircab produce by cabmate. And I might be a year off when I had it install, I bought my 1979 K100 in 1984 and can't remember exactly if i had that install that year or 85. Anyways, it made a world of difference in the ride for a spring suspension.

    Ahh ic ic .
Yeah i guess that would work.

I had a 75 coe pete that was hard to keep engine noise out from around the shifter base and it wasn't even air ride cab. Drove me nuts.

They didn't change locks from what j have seen, all ours look identical to what you have.

This is when we were getting ready to set the engine, rams are fully extended and I used a heavy rope as an anchor once over center.

Got some done today. Cylinder one in. Did lower it with bottle jack's then scissor jack then ratchet. Some reason it's little bit to the drivers side still. Going want to get new clucth linkage

As advice, my opinion is get it functional. Do one thing at a time. If it turns into too big of a project it's easy to lose interest.

You have a mechanic look it over for safety yet? See what it needs?

    Keep up the good work.
