Haven't had a mechanic look over the truck yet. Everything I looked at isn't anything my brother or I can't fix together. I did drive her here some 200 miles. I got a list and a half to do. Can't loose interest lol brothers wife don't like it by the garage haha

Here's my new pump. Bailey hydraulics brand. I found them when I got tired of contacting (phone/email) with power packer. This is 209$ shipped to the door Vs the 500-700$ from power packer. Also got my other Cylinder. So this weekend I'll have the cab lift system working.
I much rather have 22.5s on the truck. But I'm going throw some bridgestone recaps. 2800 for all 8 with them putting it on and getting rid of my old post tires that are rotted bad.
Also some 55 gallon plastic drums going up there next coming weekend for oil change, one for antifreeze, and two for fuel as it's full of farm diesel mixed with road diesel.... Going be full weekend..SheepDog Thanks this. -
Forgot to add next time my brother is home both corner fenders coming off so we can fix them both are cracked with passenger side being the worse. Hopefully I'll remember to take pictures. Putting the new AC condenser in with new lines. Do have to say working on cabovers aren't as bad as I thought.
SheepDog Thanks this. -
On my 78, I replaced all of the air lines recently. The old ones were holding air, but when I started to remove them, a few flat broke in half. Some under the cab when removed would stand up in the corner, they were that stiff and brittle. Bend them and they would crack in half. Pull on some and you will get a good idea if that job needs to be on your to-do list.
DDlighttruck and Adisiwaya Thank this. -
I finally got to work on my truck this last weekend. Took corner panel off the truck and AC condenser out that's broke. Put new batteries in the truck also did new ends. Have 3 1000cca in it now. Going to have to re run the new headlight wires too. Finally got pump and new hoses on except I blew a line... Have to get one made again.
SheepDog, clausland, Diesel Dave and 1 other person Thank this. -
Since you have that panel apart, I would replace that bushing where the cab pivots. Make sure you put a support on the cab.
SheepDog, BoxCarKidd, Adisiwaya and 1 other person Thank this.
