Need some advise, just bought a 1980 W900A, was thinking about fixing the truck up and using it some local, just wanting to know what the truck is worth like it is, bought it as a combo deal with a Low Boy, really wanting the Low Boy and this was the only way to get it. The truck has 300BC Cummins with 7spd and 370 rears, with wet line kit and headache rack. The truck runs good and is in pretty good shape for the age, we bought it from a local grading company who has owned the truck for 25 years. Thanks for the advise.

$10-$15K range if everything works seems to be the going price. Shouldn't be a problem moving it, a farmers auction would be a good place to start. A buddy of mine had no problem moving some older day cabs at one of those auctions.

Its 33 years old.... Im thinking more like $6k to 8k. Looks like a short wheel base, I'm sure it is also spring suspension.

A working Kenworth daycab that's not a rusted pile is gonna get $10K+ all day long.

My guess is 3 to 7 depending how nice it is. If it were me, I would use it. Looks like a nice little truck. You can't beat a mechanical big cam.

If I were to sell it I would run a search at Truckpaper.com within 500 miles of where you live for the same truck and price it according to what you find. But like the others have said If its in decent shape I'd use it locally.

Siblings of that one are on craigslist within 150 miles of me for $4000-8000. Usually for long periods of time reposted weekly. Short hood small power on spring ride just doesn't bring $ for resale. If it runs good run it.

I think we are going to sell it, just don't have the time to put into it. Would make a really nice show truck if someone had the time and money to put into it. Tks for all the advise.
