Yes they will lol. The engine in my truck was a spare to replace the “bad engine” in the truck, and of course I was told it was supposedly a 400, that’s why I pulled a head and a piston. The only truth to the sellers story was that it had 10,000 or less miles on a rebuild.

Yeah, you don't know what you don't know. If today goes good and this truck sells...I'm gonna go grab that 359/Cummins and get her home and do just that; pull a head and see what's inside it for parts. I verified that the engine is definitely OEM through Peterbilt at least...so the mystery is gone about that anyway.
You wouldn't know where I could get a whole Jake setup for a Big Cam would you OldSkool?spsauerland and OLDSKOOLERnWV Thank this. -

Funny how many people will dwell on some Facebook page and drool over trucks, until you go to sell one for a fair price and then they start criticizing you for asking what you are asking. They either have no intentions of buying one, have no money, or have no clue. Or maybe all of the above, LOL.spsauerland, 201 and OLDSKOOLERnWV Thank this. -

IIRC, the 86 could still be a big cam 111, which is more desirable than a IV,
There should be an aluminum data tag on the accessory drive that has all the info, model horsepower and cpl.
The easiest way to visually tell is look at the top radiator hoses, if it is the low flow IV, they will only be 1 in or so, the 111 will have a 3in so oor there abouts.
I ran an 85 model big cam 111 for a few years that was set up by someone that knew their stuff, it took a hopped up 425 to stay with it.
I just traded for an old truck with a big cam 1 in it, not sure what to expect out of it yet.
