1988 379 Peterbilt rear ends w/4.10 ratio to rebuild?

    I don’t know if I’d want someone who can’t come up with parts for a set of SQHD’s re-building anything for me. You can get anything but gears or housings for those rears from Euclid or Axletech. A driveline guy should know that.

    I've got a pair of 5.29 SSHDs out behind the shop. Probably no beuno now after sitting exposed to the elements for 5 years lol.

    The parts are out there new aftermarket and new old stock
    Lots of new old stock Rockwell on eBay….but there’s several models of Rockwell that it could be and that’s going to be important. Parts books and service book for all of them are easily found in digital format as free downloads if you don’t have paper or want to buy it.

    Exactly my thoughts. Swapping rears on a Pete is nothing more than nuts and bolts unlike KW who likes to weld rears to the suspension.
