I have a 91 IH 9300 with a Cat 3176. Today while driving it to the garage to get my truck inspected I lost throttle response. Upon further review the D3 fuse was getting hot. In my manual it says that fuse is for the Programmable Electronic Engine Control. Any ideas? The manual says it should be a 20 amp fuse but there was a 10 amp in it. I put a 20 amp in it and took the truck for a run. After a couple miles the fuse heated up and I lost throttle response, at first intermittently and then all together. I don't have access to diagnostic equipment other than a test light and multi meter. I have work lined up and it's frustrating that I'm having this issue any advice would be appreciated.
