Ok can I bypass the low coolant sensor ? It’s a 4 wire sensor ? If not would it give me any problems if I just unplug it ? Also, my stop engine light comes on at 200F. Any suggestions on that? Thanks

You may have two temp sensors, one for the dash and the other for the ecm. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to confirm the engine temp with a infrared temp gun.
@Big Road Skateboard may know of a way to bypass sensor.blairandgretchen Thanks this. -
The gauge or sensor probably isn't accurate. Shut down is 225* for my 05 cat.
My 05 I could unplug the radiator reservoir sensor. Top tank. It went bad and wouldn't let the engine stay running.Tug Toy Thanks this. -
Take it to a shop with CAT diagnostic equipment have them plug it up and turn the low water sensor in the ecm.
just to say it the low coolant sensor is always in the tank…..temp sensor is always in the head. I also don’t condone turning such features off in stead of fixing them even to get to a shop but to each their ownDeere hunter, Bean Jr. and exhausted379 Thank this.
