So I bought a truck as a project its a 1996 kenworth t600, truck is solid just needs typical 30 year old truck things such as door and window seals.

Both vent window seals from dirks part# K207-818. They dont even come close to fitting in the channel for the vent window frame. Every other supplier i looked at is all the same part number what am I missing here.![]()

I'm thinking that the rubber is inside out. Where your thumb is needs to go against the channel and the glass goes in the groove that is marked in yellow. Twist the rubber so that the yellow groove is on the inside.

Just something I experienced when I changed the door seals on a 1994 W900.
If you pulled on the seal slightly while pressing it onto the door frame, you'll have a little bit to trim off at the end. Bad part is that after all that plus replacing the little seal around the door striker, it still won't seal out the noise and wind that great. You'll have to add weather stripping if you want a decent seal. -
When I did the seals on my 94 W9 they sold me generic seals that I had to make fit on my own and they said the wing windows seals were no longer available at all. I was going to replace the entire door with the newer style with a different striker but sold the truck before I got that far.
