On my Pete with Detroit S60 12.7L I am having issues with the cruise control. When stopped and idleing the cruise works to increase RPM, But when I'm on the highway the cruise control does not work. Any ideas as to why this is?

i think i can anser that one, if you shut your truck off and DONT wait for the FULL gauge sweep (full right then full left) cruse wont work. if you wait for full sweep it will work. this works for me ona shaker with a 14L 60s

Does your fast idle kick out when you release the parking brakes? If not, check out your park brake switch. If it does, you need to hook to a monitor and run a switch configuration flow chart just to start, and from there, there's no telling where you'll wind up. Good luck.
