My steering column seems to have some play with the tilt function. Wondering if anyone knows a way to fix the play in the steering wheel . Tilt works but it’s not locking up solid .

Its just wore out, you can remove bottom shroud and wiggle a screwdriver on the things the springs are attached to but at this point youre simply due a column that the delrin gears arent clapped out on.

If you find a good way to get around replacing the whole column, please tell me, ive got a column i need to rehab myself

T600 t2000 t800 w900 from early 90s to about 2008 ish are all pretty much the same, just make sure you get a 2 position tilt/telescope

Should do, worst case youll have to slightly modify the ubolt clamp

Converted a 94 non tilt non telescope to one with both, diameter at boltup was larger, just had to use longer bolts and bend the bracket

did you try to change this part . This is for a tilt non telescope. It’s the locking mechanism for tilt
