Fellow truckers, I have a 1998 Pete 379 with a Unibilt sleeper. The sleeper was obviously swapped out prior to purchase (VIN doesn't match). The sleeper has no power. Found two wire harnesses in the passenger side closet with some other connectors, one with a huge matching blade connection. Plugged those together and still no power. Traced the harness and it goes around the microwave slot along the passenger side wall towards the back. There are other connectors available in the harness that don't match up to anything I can locate. Talked to a local Peterbilt Service Center and they aren't convincing in assistance. The next thing I can think of is to check the plugs for power with my multimeter. I'm at a loss of what to do or how to proceed to get this connected "properly" so there are no further issues down the road. I'm no electrician by any means for this skill level. Any suggestions to resolve this issue?
