Fellow truckers, I have a 1998 Pete 379 with a Unibilt sleeper. The sleeper was obviously swapped out prior to purchase (VIN doesn't match). The sleeper has no power. Found two wire harnesses in the passenger side closet with some other connectors, one with a huge matching blade connection. Plugged those together and still no power. Traced the harness and it goes around the microwave slot along the passenger side wall towards the back. There are other connectors available in the harness that don't match up to anything I can locate. Talked to a local Peterbilt Service Center and they aren't convincing in assistance. The next thing I can think of is to check the plugs for power with my multimeter. I'm at a loss of what to do or how to proceed to get this connected "properly" so there are no further issues down the road. I'm no electrician by any means for this skill level. Any suggestions to resolve this issue?

The 1st thing I would check is make sure you have power on your main harness that goes to the sleeper it should be on the right side of the sleeper .. but you will need the schematics to know which blades are supouse to be powered.. depending on what you find there would determine which direction I would proceed

Just gonna throw this out here. . Had no power to the rear a/c recently, turned out the bottom row of the fuse box was corroded. Windshield leaks go right down the firewall to that panel. GL
