    well here it goes. i have a 1998 volvo vnl-64 with a DT60.
the first issue was i would loose power to cluster and blower fan at times, but would wiggle ignition and it came back.
NOW, here is the problem. I turned the key on, no power to cluster and fan was not on. i took the cover off the steering colum to see it it was maybe a loose wire, stupid me i had the key on and went to unplug the ignition switch and when doing so i touched the screwdriver to one of the pins. not sure what one. but now it wont start. no power anywhere except radio. i put that switch in another truck and it started right up. im thinking maybe its the wires in the connector that plugs into the switch?
i cleaned the terminals and put the wires back where they belong(or so i hope) if i could find out what slots on the connector are not used, i may be able to find my problem

please help, im stuck and cant find any info anywhere

Sounds like you may have just blown a fuse when you got the spark with your screw driver.
