1999 KW W900 - few repair questions

    oh hey, I looked at my glove box and the hinge is part of the door, but is only held on with 6 screws.

    So I got a new AC compressor and clutch unit. They seem straight forward to assemble. 17ft lbs for the 4 bolts on the clutch but what torque for the center bolt and how do you tighten it as it turns when you do?

    Put your belts on then tighten center bolt all u can with a 3/8 ratchet.

    Cool. That works.

    If anyone is still following this thread, I have a trans temp gauge but it doesnt read anything. Now...this was an Auto-Shifter and replaced with an Eaton 13 speed....

    Not knowing if/how a gauge can be adapted...would it be prudent to presume that there either its a sending unit or a spot for one?

    The Eaton was new-in-box but thats all I know....

    There is a spot for sending unit.Maybe just not connected.
