On my w900 my brake spider has the single anchor pin. It is grooved out and I would like to replace it. Kenworth tells me I cannot buy the pin and replace it. The pin on the inside has two c-clips it seems if I remove the c-clips I can pound out the pin. I bought the brake spider. That supposedly is new and improved as the old part number is absolete. The spider bolts on, however, the s-cam tube is about 3/16 of an inch off. Anybody else run into this problem ?

The spiders updated. You now need a new scam tube to mate to the new spider.
Same thing happens when you break an scam tube and want to replace it, you end up having to do the spider as well.
