I thought I would ask the question of what type of trailer to get (Flat, Flat w/tarps, Dry van, Ref. , car carrier etc) If I live 40 miles north of Atlanta on I-75. I will have my own authority and dont mind 1000 mile + trips but would like to have back hauls. Would like to add aditional trucks as time/ market permits. Also, I am not limited by strength, health etc. Thanks!

I bought a dry van for my first trailer.
Wished I'd have gotten a reefer. But then again, the company I signed on with was mainly Dry van and open decks. -
You don't have an idea of who your target customers will be yet? This will answer your question.
Ruthless Thanks this. -

What lanes and freight are you going to haul?

I'd go with flat or reefer.
By the way, I have a 2012 East BST, all aluminum, 3 nailers, 8 al wheels, good virgin rubber, 2 al boxes, rear strobes, j grooves I'll sell you. -
