That is not true at all, if your driving a POV its the same as anyone else, the CDL only comes into plat if you are indeed driving a CMV. Check with any law enforcement department, I have several friends that are State Police and have confirmed this.

 

It does not matter, one ore drunk off the road great, give that cop a commendation. Drink and Drive go to jail, Any delectable amount is under the influence with a CDL.....

 

That is what I am thinking.....could have been a new cop that was confused on the law.....was it a dualie pickup that looked like a cmv???
