2 check engine lights on and my DEF fuel light on but I just filled DEF tank

I just had the exact thing happen let me tell you I have a 2014 freightliner cascade I had just fill my def tank up it was only 3/4 full so I too it off drove about 40 miles and the 2 engine lights pop on and the flashing yellow def light pop on as well I immediately pull over at the next exit and did a REGEN about 15 mins into the REGEN def light went off but the 1 blank engine light is still on

How much was it to change the sensors; we were quoted 3,200$

 

I paid 1300 , the sensors can be changed by anyone with a good set of tools . The biggest issue was the software used to reset the truck and get you out of limp mode . There Is a module on the market that can reset your system made by OTR performance . I used a smaller shop , not the dealership.

 

Have a 2016 kenworth t270 check engine light on def is saying empty and stop engine screaming when you crank it. Will only run 5mph. Put def in it ran it all day then the gauge started acting stupid floating from full to empty and has finally set on empty. Was that way a few days. Left truck running to fill up with fuel and as soon as I put cap on the stop engine light screams and i can't go but 5mph no acceleration no anything.

I just started having same problem with my 2015 DD16 Star. 2 blinking lights then derates for 30 minutes then clears. Booked into shop tomorrow. Wish me luck!!!

 

Sounds like a fray in the sensors shorting out .

 

You do know the derate bypass to get ya down the road, right
Carry a spare speed sensor, and plug it in
To the harness away from the sensor ring
Workes on my 2014 DD 15
