next to the Pilot in Winona, MS is the 2 sisters Cafe! I ate there today. Great experience! my Waitress was the mom of the 2 sisters, she turned 83 yesterday. Wonderful woman. food was very good, and the place was clean! I would recommend this place to any driver, and you can even take your spouse and have a nice meal with nice host!

Oh yeah, great place, excellent atmosphere and food! I never missed a chance to have a meal there. Another great "mom & pop" place is the Yahley Mill Grill in Varina, VA, I 295 exit 22 on the east side of Richmond. Not much truck parking but then it's not well known by truckers (shhhhh). They sell a t shirt that says "Eat at the Y, Yahley Mill Grill", I dont think they realized the double meaning (or did they).
