Once you pay the fine, it's on your record as a conviction. However, should not be a moving violation. Why are you driving with no seatbelt on and don't have chains on board ? Aren't signs posted on the highway telling you "must carry chains Nov 1st" ?

The seatbelt will be a problem with most carriers……… I’d fight that for sure

Both of these citations are probably valid.
Plenty of signs, not to mention federal regulations about seat belts. So if you weren’t using it, then you deserve that citation.
Again, plenty of signs regarding the regulations concerning having traction devices/ chains on the truck. You should have had the required equipment.
Bottom line is you’re probably not going to get them removed. Neither is a moving violation. But the seat belt one is a killer.JerryD13, Crude Truckin', Long FLD and 1 other person Thank this. -
Funny, isn't it, how a regulation that affects only you is somehow more serious than one that affects everyone else on the road?W923, Oxbow, 86scotty and 1 other person Thank this. -
It could be a passenger of yours or somebody you hit because you flew off your seat and were no longer able to control your vehicle.Vampire, 4wayflashers, mjd4277 and 5 others Thank this.
