I know this is a common message, but here goes. I just got CDL and am now concidering starting out at either 1. KLLM or 2. Squire/Knight. Have tried to read everything I could on these boards about the two, and it is a tough choice. Kllm pays more per mile, but that can't be the decision maker. Being in NE Ohio, Squire is actually closer to home (one state away). Can start at either company by the end of the month. Does anyone have opinions on these two companies (good or bad). Sure would appreciate all the info I can get. Thanks

alos squire is a 3 month stint before you can move to Knight, KLLM was not hiring i my area, but I c u have searched the forums, so i would go with who has the best options u r looking for, ie: best hometime, insurance (waiting period) , slip seating, can u take the truck home on homtime or does it have to b parked at at terminal, layover pay, sometimes the better cpm is not that good if you cant put in the miles so in other words are they busy enough to keep you moving?, do you need hazmat, vaction plans, do they run areas u want to run, etc etc , I am sure you have checked into all this so then it would depend o if u like RED or GOLD. tractors...LOL
Baack Thanks this. -
southbaydad pretty much covered it all. answer those questions and weigh them out. i dont have experience with either company but from the reasearch i have done and from what i have seen on the boards, i would choose knight before KLLM.
also, what is squire? i have heard of them but know nothing about them. i cant find a website for them either.
