2 yrs unemployment and very little work in my 3 yrs work history

I can certainly see myself explaining to my child....why daddy won't buy groceries. I'd rather eat the business end of a 1911.

I've had LOW paying jobs that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. But my family never complained about the lack of food and a warm bed. They may have complained about not getting to buy the latest fashion......

You'll note I used the word "won't" instead of can't. That was intentional.

99 weeks..... and now he's ready to get serious.

There has been ZERO shortage of jobs in this industry during that period. Had he come to this forum 2 or 20 weeks in. I would respect the man for showing an effort to be a "provider", to himself and others.

He milked this gravy train for as long as they would let him. And now I'm supposed to show him some respect ???

He also stated he had done some work. Did he do it while drawing that check ?? If so....he's a willful criminal. An element I do not want to see in this industry.
