We understand your an RM cheerleader, always have been and that's fine. When do you just let things go? The horse is dead and almost a fossil.

Again this is an open forum and I have the right to set the record straight on an incorrect statement. If Snowwy would stop bringing up the "fossil" statement then it will die off. I only correct the statement when he posts an incorrect statement.

"Any gps that can't use NON staa routes isn't worth using in my opinion. And the rand technical adivsor will argue otherwise."

The TND will route you on an Non-STAA route if you simply change your user settings.

True I work for RM and true each GPS will have it good/bad points, I don't argue there. If the RM has a bad point then I try to understand the issue and pass it on to RM to make them aware of an issue. It a product did not correct its issues, then it would grow stale and die.

Older units will have issues in routing if they are on older maps as maps are updated along with restrictions. It is a ongoing process.

If a user posts a statement about an RM product, then I will work with that user to get them either up to speed on the ways you can change your setting's.

I would say a vast majority of users simply see a road and see another truck on it and go "gee", I can drive on it, when a lot more goes into the makings of roads and restrictions.

So as stated, I read the threads and if an statement is incorrect or a user needs more information then I will interject as I have been doing for over 7 years on TTR.

When Snowwy does not make a incorrect statement. I only post to correct his incorrect statement. I am over it as of 4 years ago, but to a new driver they see a post and they believe what is posted. Many things have changed on any GPS unit since 4 years ago. Snowwy to the best of my knowledge has not owned an RM in the last 4 years, so how can he post old news to a new thread?

As he stated in a prior thread, he stated he will drive on any road he desires no matter what the restriction. His choice. His ticket.

Change the settings and you will be amazed what routing can be done.

Ever consider that you responding to the post is actually keeping it alive?

I am correcting a statement that is not true. I do have that right on an open forum...

Just a passerby here... Although I am considering purchasing a stand alone GPS, I currently use CoPilot, so I don't have a horse in this race, and as such I must say that I think you are tagging the wrong party as bringing the dead horse to this thread.

    Just my two cents worth...

Stay Safe no matter which GPS you favor.

Ever consider that if he is "responding" to something then by default not the one "keeping it alive"?
