I would just wait for what your ordered to arrive. You don't want to screw around with the truck and possibly blow the ecm.

TThere are 3 types of chargers. Wall, 12v socket. And usb. I bought the usb as I have plenty of wall and socket chargers. And a laptop will also power it on.

If you need it right away. See if best buy or att might have it by chance.

That's what I was planning to do. I figured that link might be useful for someone who knows a little about electrical stuff. No way to blow the ECM since that plugs into the Mobley. Might brick it though.

Just got my Mobley up and running. It was pretty much plug and play out of the box. Plugged into the port in my pick up and immediately got 2 green lights. Logged into the wifi network on my phone and did a couple of speed tests. With 1 bar on the signal meter in the attwifi manager program I got 5-7 Mbps down. That's fast enough to stream something. Played around in settings a bit. Never could find the button to keep it from shutting off after 30 minutes. The video above said you might have to wait for a firmware update. Not a big deal since I cant take it out on the road until my power supply comes in. Happy camper.

It's not really easy to find. Go to:

    http://attwifimanager or http://192.168.1.1.

    password is attadmin

    Settings...Network....Advanced.....Power Save

You may have to open an account to get access to wifi manager. Can't remember.

That's where I was. I was using my phone and never got to the sub menu where it is. 30 min time out is fine until I get it in the truck

At the bottom of the page after you login. It says PC PHONE. you click on pc and you get the computer looking webpage. The phone mode is just a stripped down version of the firmware.

The 30 minutes is when you plug it in. Unless it's plugged into the car then it's 30 minutes after shutdown. Apparently the device gets a signal from the obd2 plug that turns it on and keeps it on while engine is running.

Took mine out on teh truck today. Was impressed with it's coverage. 75 miles of my route is covered by att ONLY. Sprint and Verizon have never covvered that area. By the end of my work week I'll hve a full run down of att vs sprint/verizon in my local working area.

I got to the PC version. Just didn't click on the small buttons under one of the pages. They are real small on the phone.

The setting is there. Just like @Getsinyourblood posted. If you have to. See if you can use your fingers on the screen to spread the page out. Unless you got one of them tiny screen phones. Then you'll need to log in with your computer or tablet will work also.

I will do it when I take it to the truck on my laptop. I sort of like it turning off after 30 minutes in my pick up which is the only way I can use it at the moment.
