    Let's see, he's going from a receiver to a truckstop. I hope we can all agree on that.
    He can pc either to/from terminal and home. That would be no.
    He can pc from lodging to/from restaurant. That would be a no.

    So, those two criteria are not met, how can he pc legally?

    Hoofbeats is correct. ATL at midnight is easy. Complete the 10 hour before. Also, there are ways to get from shipper to nearby truck stop or vise versa without using clock. They were mentioned. Also, no, home time is not guaranteed in the day you planned. Sometimes it’s a day later. This happens at my company.

    I was under the impression that the guidance was an example. That if you were completely relieved of duty you could pc from anywhere. As long as you were empty.
