2000 cummins ISM????

    I have a Freightliner FLD 120 with a Cummins ISM. When I 1st start the engine in the mornings it fires right up, but may only run for about 20 seconds then sputters and cuts off and will not restart without a shot of ether. Once the engine is hot it runs smoothly, cranks on a dime the rest of the day? Injector bad fuel pump goin out? What's goin on?
