2000 international 2574 shuting off and wiring issues

ahh ok. well i will call the shop again

 

measured fuel pressure. 140psi at idle and max 160 with throttle. I'm stumped. not sure if it could be the fuel pump. i ran a clear line from check valve on ecm to filter on fuel pump. i didn't see any air. once it's done doing it's revving up and spurting it seems to run ok.

 

update, truck keeps surging. had mechanic come out and we removed the ecm to have sent off to be tested. we ran the return line to a bucket and I'm getting bubbles. i think its alot but mechanic thinks it's not enough to cause a miss or to shut the truck down. either way I clearly see bubbles.
any ideas?
