I'm not guessing. I certainly know that is a 132 hood by length and stainless width.

23 year old truck from a mega could have any cab on it. Check frame rail vin against cab vin. Right side under hood, top flange.

Swift and werner had company junk yards. Ive towed Wrecks in, even bought parts from them before.

That cab could be from a 120, but the Frame and hood is from a 132.

You already said they were mistaken and it is actually a 132. Who’s on first?

I think as @jamespmack mentioned earlier the first Classics in early 90’s. (an FLD120 with a new classic style hood) were called SD. Severe Duty maybe?

I agree. Lost in cyberspace. Too much info that doesn’t help anyone. I fixed it.

@jamespmack is correct on everything he’s told you. That’s definitely an FLD132 Classic. I’m a huge FLD/12.7 Detroit fanboy.

It’s too bad the battery boxes aren’t under the doors, though. That makes a nicer looking truck that’s easier to climb up into.

You might have a look at others that are available, before you jump in with both feet. There are a lot of similarly on the trader.

Detroit dealer will have a dyno. There isn’t anything those guys don’t know about them. IMO and experience (Gary, IN), they’re another level above dealership techs. I’d suggest calling them and seeing what the procedure and costs are for having them do a comprehensive lookover of this truck. This is the one local to the truck.

I agree, and the set forward aero fld120 was just as bad. Good luck finding hoods.
