2000 volvo vnl 660 brake and turn signal not working

Gonna have to buy a new junction box. They cost 10 bucks and require it. The inside of it and all your terminals are corroded.
You can probably get away with just cutting all the ring terminals off and installing new ones when installing new junction box but a spent a day running all new marine grade triplex wire to all the lights with new plugs and soldered.

 

Just curious how you came to this conclusion with what little information was provided?

No I’m not worried you challenging it.
Let’s back up. Are you saying both turn signals aren’t working in rear and the brake lights aren’t working either on both sides? If so, are the lights working when you turn on the lights in the rear? If they are working, this gives me something to go off of. The rear junction box has 4 wires going into it that supplies it. You have a ground wire, a reverse wire and 2 turn signal wires. Which also energize when parking lights are on.
Starting to sound like the ground wire came off in the box or is corroded. But that won’t be the case if rear lights come on when lights are on. Let me know what’s up so I can help.
