As the title says, what is the best way to get to the switch? I can see it, and I'm guessing I need to remove the shifter cover to get to it from the cab, but given that none of the screws want to come out easily, I wondered if there was another way. Any and all thoughts are appreciated.

On my Eaton Fuller 13 Speed, which is the same as a 18 Speed externally, I crawled under the truck and accessed the Back-up Light Switch that way, you should just be able disconnect the Wiring Harness and unscrew the Switch from the top of the Transmission Housing.
