Can’t afford the truck to be down in a shop for replacement. Got a small leak on the core not the tanks. Sourced the replacement radiator, just looking at it I’m sure I can replace myself. Only concern is weight, can I recruit a buddy to help me lift this thing out?? Or is it super heavy? Anything I should know before DIY this fkr?
It’s ISX cummins if that makes difference.

I did mine in my driveway. Recruit a buddy to help you put the new one in. I marked the brackets that hold the radiator in with a paint pen. Pretty easy, about a 2 hour job.
I did it on the same year make, model and engine as yours. -
Hope its a light radiator. My old man and I could barely set the rad from my W9 on the ground without dropping it.
-
I used a hoist to change mine and #### glad I did they can be a bit of a ##### to get in place. And you don't want to F up the new one

When i change one in the field i take everything off then two of us just rock it to get all bushing louse then roll it to drivers side keeping L side still on L bottom bushing pad then when it gets all the way over with drivers side of rad. leaning to the ground two of us can pick it up and lay it on ground, put new bushing in and do any work on ft. of eng. while rad. is out?

Does it slide out from between everything else? Like do I have to remove A2A and ac condenser?
-
I had a friend help with the new one so I didn't damage it. -

swapping the hood was a real mf. Got it all done though!
