A slight puff between gears is normal. Cruising at highway speeds you shouldn't see any on flat ground, as you increase the fuel to compensate for a hill you will probably see a slight puff also.
-
Little or none if running right. Might see some on hard pull.
-
What could be the problem if there seems to be more than a puff
-
Is it continuous when under a load or only when shifting through the gears and throttling up for a couple of seconds?
-
'03, that was before all the emission BS right? So you have no DPF (diesel particulate filter) on there?
-
If it's anything like this then it means you are cool.............
or ghey, depending on what part of the country you are in. -
thanks
