    A slight puff between gears is normal. Cruising at highway speeds you shouldn't see any on flat ground, as you increase the fuel to compensate for a hill you will probably see a slight puff also.

    Is it continuous when under a load or only when shifting through the gears and throttling up for a couple of seconds?

    looked at it again and it only did it while it was cold, after warming up it is like "a puff"
