I went to truckpaper.com . There were 3 379s between 1998 and 2003 with c12 Cats. They ranged in price between $15,900 and $37,500. Interesting the one for $15,900 was the eld exempt, and the high price was a 2003.
There is a starting place, and you should consider the already installed DPF a bonus.
I would suppose a non-egr engine is still better than a later engine.Last edited: May 13, 2018

I picked this up last week from an very respectable owner operator locally. I just wanted to some relief that I didn't severely over pay ($28k) for this truck.

That's a $15k truck at most.

If it has DPF, it's going to be worth more than that. Installing DPF is like $16,000.
