Does anyone know anybody on the east coast that does upgrades on late model Mack engines? The dealerships will NOT turn these motors up anymore.
Check a company called "blixton" they make a plug in power module for the 427-454's.....it should help. Other than that you might be able to send the injector tips out to extrude hone in PA and have the tips extrude honed out to a larger size. I would also see if you could cross some of the parts from the e7 marine motors....i think they were around 700 hp. Other than that ......?
blixton box will not work on the later model motor's Rodchester makes performance injectors for them, stage 2 usually does the trick for most, and you can upgrade the turbo also, AI program has a pretty weak torque curve, what did they say about even upgrading to a AI 460 Some of the Mack dealers could care less how a truck pulled but some do care you might want to post yourr question on bigmacktrucks.com
have been driving one of these the last couple of days what a pos anything below 1600 it just falls flat on its face 4 ways on most hills
It appears Rochester Fuel in MN has some performance pieces available. They have stage 1, 2, and 3 injectors and a perf. turbo listed.
