    Is this a good starter truck ? 1,247,000 miles on the odometer new tires 460HP Mack with13 speed. Body & interior still looks new. $12,700
    I drove the CH model back in the 90's and they where reliable trucks.
    The mileage concerns me a little. Any thoughts would be appreciated.[​IMG]

    Are there any known problems with these models ? The CH's we had were always traded in after 300,000 to 400,000 miles. And were emissions free.

    That’s strictly up you. I’m sure you are very aware that 1.3 million miles is very high. I’m sure it’s had heads put on it but Bottom end probably never has been touched. Not only that but all the drivetrain components and bearing probably aren’t so great. Might be a good truck, might be a money pit.

    Yes I am looking at 300,000 - 500,000 mile trucks or maybe new. The emissions nightmare is the only thing that bothers me. Thank you for the reply.
