Hey guys I have a 2005 Kenworth T800 with a Cat C15. I'm collecting a list of Wix filters and saw they offer a Power Steering Filter. I looked around and can only assume the filter is inside the reservoir. I included a couple pictures of what my reservoir looks like. If somebody can confirm that I'm looking at this right I'd appreciate it.

How often do you recommend I change the power steering filter? The fluid in the reservoir is red. It must be ATF. Is Dexron II or III ok to use? Thanks everybody. PS Res. 1.jpg PS Res. 2.jpg

KW recommends Dextron II in the power steering.
The power steering filter in the reservoir should be changed at 2 year intervals unless the system is:
#1 heated to the point of color change in which case change the fluid and filter
#2 repeated adding of oil due to leaks
Remember this is a sealed system and there is little chance for contamination.

    98T800NY Thanks this.
