On the 1450 sweet spot , I'm wondering your ratios I'm at 3.70 so I was wondering if that may work for me also but didn't know your ratios
-
Oh and a Eaton 10 speed Manual
-
I have seen 40PSI of boost on occasion, but the motor is still breaking in.
34-36 any day of the week right now though, pulling @90k lbs gross.
Martin -
Low 22.5 & 3.42 gears.
Actually, it goes up to about 1700 RPM for Torque. If you really want to pull hills, (at least for me. DD60 14L, 13spd, 3.42 gears and LP22.5"), I will cruise in 8OD(13th) and set it at 1425ish. If I come to a big hill I know I'll pull against, I'll keep my speed, but downshift to 8D(12th) and let it go up to 1650 RPM. I rarely will loose enough speed then to justify downshifting another gear.
Here are the torque and HP curves both before and after Rebel127 tuned my engine. Along with the gains after he tuned it.

US MARINE Thanks this. -

Do you figures MN and tell me where your calculation has my power curve ( sweet spot ) on paper
if you would -
Nah.....
You can do that yourself? Which tranny do you have though. You need to know your high hole ratio. If it's what I think, should be like .73.

This calculator puts you around 62 mph at 1400 RPM, .73 final and tall 22.5 with 3.70 gears. -
I've got 3.73 rears on tall 22.5's. It seems OK to me. I was afraid to switch to LP because right now I'm @ 60 MPH @1400 in high gear, which seems about right. I'm really thinking about a scanguage. Seems like a useful tool for the $$$.
I think with 3.70's on LP you should be best around 58-60. Does your gauge confirm that? -
Boardhauler Thanks this.
