    I have very little experience (1 year) with Internationals (what I do have is actually positive), And even less (NONE) with the Ultrashift found in an '06 9400i with the ISX 450 and 731xxx miles. What do I need to know about this particular tranny? I am comfortable with the ISX of that year, but know nothing about that transmission.

    I have not purchased the truck, I am looking for future options for when the time comes.

    You may be comfortable with the ISX from that year, but I got rid of my '06 9400i because of the ISX. I have since swore off of Cummins, even though I was really fond of the N-14.

    As for the Ultrashift, I am not any kind of an expert on them.
