Thanx again for info. Yep, paccar in Europe is DAF,may is same engine, may is good, but we have much staff after engine and this sh... dos't give them run free,so, forgot a million on engines nowWhen I was choose for new rig, I'm preferred cummins over paccar, because it was, like you said: quiet, but not sure how much, cummins was in WS with extra insulation and paccar was in base 389(just start and jump off from, that thing was so loud, more than my 04 Pete).this time I'm was first time drove WS,and love it, but 800lb heavier than Pete with similar spec
so, it what I'm look: fuel economy, quite and reliability . But found this truck with low mileage and think may I saved som dollars on this thing over new one

Be sure and look at the engine hours, Alex. An 06 with so few miles may have had a rather rough life hauling local, with the attendant higher idle time with all the unloading/loading. Not to mention what that does to the trailer and rack.

I'm actually managing the terminal for the guy I was leased to. I blew out my shoulder shortly after I sold the truck. But we have 7 Stars with ISXs in them. I picked several of them up from cottrell last summer.

I've never run a 7509, sorry. We had been a strictly high rail fleet, but the newest three are cx-9's. We were willing to trade the flexibilty of the high rails for the ability to haul more than one dually from the ramp. We'll see this week how it goes. But if you're hauling used, I think the 7509 would be ok on short haul, but on longer runs, losing a car because you couldn't stack would hit the profit in a hurry. On a short run you can make it up with the quicker load/unload times of the quickloader.
