Also your ecm could be going out.
The batteries in it are only made to last 10 years.
No you can not buy the batteries.
You just order a rebuilt ecm or send yours out.

    I live in Virginia.

I checked the ugly fix and all the connections on the EGR harness, all appear clean and fully connected with no corrosion.

I did order a new EGR exhaust temp sensor and vpod tube and will replace them this weekend. I suspect it is a sensor or wiring harness. If I could find the diagnostic info to test resistance point to point I will be able to test and be sure.

Okay, I replaced the EGR temp sensor and vpod, no luck. I found on the ScanGauge that error 103/8 is turbo speed sensor failure so I replaced that too. Nothing changed.

I guess it's down to the EGR wiring harness, ECM wiring/ground, or the ECU itself.

Probably gonna bite the bullet and take it to the dealer next week.

I agree with you, but the injector code .75 is only for N2 injectors DDEC 4. The universal code for DDEC 5, N3 injectors is .01 or the actual code stamped on the injectors.....

This code is for N2 injectors. Trust me, somebody put the setting wrong. I have this info from Detroit Diesel Engineering Team, where my friend works.

Originally from the factory truck comes with the stamped code on the injectors. Somebody else change them without knowing the problem.

    Intothesunset Thanks this.

I appreciate the info but where did all this talk about injectors come in? Is that the 103/8 error from the ScanGauge? I can swing into a Detroit shop and get that changed pronto if that's the problem.
